Every group has a wild card... Flash Of Brass has Robert!  Currently working as a truck mechanic, you never know what to expect from Rob on stage.  His vocal range is exceptional, plays the lead trombone and provides rhythm.  His talents in concert is worth the price of admission! Robert is living in Akron, NY.

She currently works at Strong Memorial Hospital in the pediatric department and resides in Scottsville, NY with her new husband and pet turtle.

Mike Herdzik

Mike joined the Flash Of Brass in August of 2003 and was a perfect fit right from the start.  His strong musical skills allowed him to adapt very quickly to the group's set list with a fresh style all his own. Mike is the Assistant Pastor of Youth and Worship at First Baptist Church of Hamburg and resides in Hamburg with wife Jodie.

Phil Riggs

Bass Guitar

Phil started with Flash of Brass in the summer of '04 concert series in Elba. He attends the First Baptist Church of Hamburg, NY where he serves in music and youth ministries. Walking away from the performing scene a few years ago was very difficult, but has lead him to many rewards like the opportunity to be on stage with very talented Christian musicians. Phil considers it a blessing to serve in even a small part of this ministry. Phil also lives in Hamburg with wife, Barb.

Lee Schoenthal

Father to three of the group members, Lee has provided capable leadership operating the mixing console for Flash of Brass. He and his wife Bonnie live in Indian Falls, NY and have four children.
